Who can take part

  • You have a mass in your bladder seen on an ultrasound or other scan that might be cancer.
  • Your bladder must be well filled for the ultrasound, and you cannot be allergic to the ultrasound contrast dye.
  • You have not had any surgery or chemotherapy or radiation for this condition yet.
  • You are scheduled for surgery to remove the tumor, and you have symptoms like blood in urine, a biopsy showing cancer, or urine tests suggesting cancer.
  • You can safely undergo surgery.
