Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are having planned (not emergency) surgery under general anesthesia.
  • You are in good general health or have a mild to moderate health condition (ASA I–III).
  • You can communicate clearly and have no history of cognitive problems, hearing or vision loss, or psychiatric conditions that prevent communication.
  • Your surgery is expected to last at least 90 minutes under general anesthesia.
  • You agree to join the study and sign a consent form.
