This study tests if giving your eggs a boost from your own fat-cell mitochondria can improve chances of a healthy pregnancy for people who have had multiple failed IVF cycles. You'll donate a small amount of fat through liposuction, and the mitochondria from those cells will be added to your eggs before fertilization.

Who can take part

  • You have had at least three IVF cycles that didn't lead to a baby.
  • You agree to have a genetic test on your embryos (PGT-A) and to freeze all embryos.
  • You are willing to have a small liposuction procedure to collect fat cells from your belly or thigh.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is less than 26.
  • No major problems with your uterus or ovaries (like large cysts or polycystic ovaries).
  • Sperm from your partner is healthy (at least 5 million moving sperm per milliliter).
