Comparing two methods for learning laparoscopic skills

Laparoscopic Surgical Training

This trial compares a new analytic box trainer against a classic one to see which helps first-year medical residents learn laparoscopic skills better. You would attend a training session and a follow-up assessment with cadaveric models.

  • You are a first-year medical resident at CHUSJ hospital.
  • You agree to participate voluntarily and sign a consent form.
  • You can attend both the initial training session and a follow-up session 15 days later.
  • You have never had formal laparoscopic training before.
  • You will not practice laparoscopic skills on your own between the training and the follow-up.
