  • You are generally healthy
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is under 30
  • You weigh at least 110 pounds
  • You are not pregnant
  • You do not have diabetes, chronic kidney disease, or kidney stones
  • You do not have high blood pressure or take certain fluid-related medications
