Power nap study for non-restorative sleep

This study tests whether a short daytime nap using a mild electric stimulation device can improve sleep quality in people who feel their sleep is not refreshing. If you are generally healthy, can nap, and want to try a non-drug approach, this might be a good fit.

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You feel your sleep is not refreshing or restorative (even if you get enough sleep).
  • You are able to speak English and take daytime naps.
  • You do not have any metal in your head, dental implants, or permanent retainers.
  • You are not currently using certain medications that affect seizure risk, and you have no history of seizures or neurological disorders.
