Who can take part
- You must be a woman between 18 and 60 years old (or 18 or older for the advanced cancer group).
- You must have HPV type 16, confirmed by a test.
- You either have a precancerous lesion (low- or high-grade) in the cervix, vagina, or vulva, or you have advanced cervical cancer that has come back or spread.
- If you have a low-grade precancer, the HPV-16 infection must have lasted more than 6 months. If you have a high-grade precancer, your doctor must have done a satisfactory colposcopy.
- If you have advanced cancer, you must have tried at least one standard treatment that didn't work or caused bad side effects, or there is no standard treatment for you.
- You cannot be pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to get pregnant, and you must agree to use birth control during the study and for 6 months after.
