Who can take part

  • You must be between 25 and 60 years old.
  • You cannot be pregnant or planning pregnancy; if female and able to have children, you must use reliable birth control for at least 3 months before starting.
  • You need to be willing to keep your weight stable (within 5% of your starting weight) and not change your diet or exercise habits during the study.
  • You should not have certain medical conditions like heart problems, diabetes, immune disorders, or skin issues in the treatment areas.
  • You must not have had surgery or fat reduction treatments on your abdomen or legs in the last 2 years.
  • You cannot have a pacemaker, metal implants, or other electronic devices in your body.
