This trial tests if structured home care and nutritional support can help people with HIV recover and stay healthy after leaving the hospital. If you live in the Matlosana area and were recently admitted to Tshepong Hospital, you may be able to join.

  • You have HIV (confirmed by a doctor or medical records).
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You live in the Matlosana sub-district.
  • You were admitted to a medical (not surgical or psychiatric) ward at Tshepong Hospital for at least 2 nights.
  • You agree to home visits after leaving the hospital and can give consent (or have a family member who can).
