  • Scheduled for surgery with general anesthesia that requires a facemask and breathing tube.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Provided your consent to take part.
  • Not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • No need for rapid-sequence induction (a faster type of anesthesia) or other reasons that prevent facemask use.
  • Not scheduled for an awake breathing tube placement.
