Who can take part
- You must be 19 to 75 years old.
- You have a confirmed H. pylori infection (a type of stomach bacteria).
- You need treatment for at least one of: chronic stomach inflammation, stomach ulcer, previous early stomach cancer or polyp removal, ongoing stomach upset, low-grade stomach lymphoma, low blood platelets, iron deficiency anemia, stomach polyps, or a family history of stomach cancer.
- You have not had previous H. pylori treatment.
- You are not allergic to penicillin or macrolide antibiotics.
- You agree to use effective birth control during the study (if of childbearing potential), and you are not pregnant or nursing.
