Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with stomach cancer that has not spread beyond the inner layers of the stomach wall (stage T1).
  • You are scheduled for surgery to remove the stomach and nearby lymph nodes.
  • You have not had chemotherapy or radiation before surgery.
  • You have no other cancer diagnosed in the last 5 years.
