Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with uterine sarcoma or a fibroid (leiomyoma) after a biopsy.
  • You had an MRI scan of your pelvis within 2 months before your surgery.
  • The MRI included special sequences called T2-weighted and diffusion-weighted imaging.
  • Your tumor must be at least 2 centimeters (about the size of a grape).
  • The sarcoma started in your uterus, not elsewhere in your body.
  • You do not have another type of cancer in your pelvis.
