Who can take part

  • You must have moderate to severe dry skin (as rated by a doctor).
  • You must have moderate to severe itching (rated 1 or higher on a 0–10 scale).
  • You must be 55 years old or older.
  • You must have a history of eczema, or be taking certain medications that cause dry skin, or have a condition like diabetes or thyroid disease.
  • You must not be allergic to any ingredient in the study lotion.
  • You must be willing to use only the study lotion, keep a diary, and attend follow-up visits.
