Who can take part

  • You must have an active H. pylori infection.
  • You cannot be allergic to bismuth, amoxicillin, or the acid-reducing medicine used.
  • You cannot have had any stomach surgery before.
  • You cannot have severe liver disease, kidney failure (uremia), or cancer.
  • You cannot be pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study.
