Compound Ejiao Syrup for recovery after ICU stay

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 75 years old.
  • You were discharged from the ICU within the last 24 hours.
  • You were on a breathing machine (ventilator) for at least 48 hours during this ICU stay.
  • You stayed in the ICU for at least 8 days but no more than 28 days.
  • You have started receiving nutrition through a feeding tube or by mouth (enteral nutrition).
  • You can breathe on your own with little or no extra oxygen (nasal cannula flow 5 L/min or less).
  • You are awake and alert enough to follow simple instructions and do bedside activities like sitting up or walking short distances with help.
  • You do not have severe heart failure, severe chronic lung failure, leg problems that limit walking, or serious brain conditions, and you can stand on your own.
