Comparing further treatment options for esophageal cancer after chemo-immunotherapy

Who can take part

  • Age between 18 and 75 years
  • Diagnosed with locally advanced esophageal cancer that can be surgically removed
  • Must have had at least 2 cycles of platinum-based chemo plus an immunotherapy drug (like anti-PD-1) and the cancer has either completely or partially responded
  • Good overall health with a performance status of 0 or 1 (able to carry out daily activities)
  • Adequate organ function (kidney, liver, bone marrow) as confirmed by blood tests
