This study tracks people who had surgery to reattach the medial collateral ligament (MCL) in the knee, alone or with other repairs. It measures how well and how safely they return to sports. If you had this surgery, you may help improve future care.

Who can take part

  • You had surgery to reattach the medial collateral ligament (MCL) to the shinbone (distal insertion). It's okay if you also had other knee repairs at the same time.
  • You were between 12 and 65 years old when you had the surgery.
  • Your surgery happened sometime between January 1, 2020 and December 31, 2027.
  • You had an MRI, X-ray, or CT scan before surgery that confirmed the MCL injury.
  • You agreed to join the study and we can contact you.
  • You played a sport within the 2 years before your MCL surgery.
