Who can take part

  • You are a woman between 22 and 80 years old.
  • You have had overactive bladder (sudden urges to urinate with leaks) for at least 6 months.
  • You have at least 7 urge-related leaks over 3 days (more than leaks from coughs or sneezes).
  • You are willing to stop any overactive bladder pills for 2 weeks before the treatment.
  • You are willing to use birth control (if you could become pregnant and are sexually active) and have a negative pregnancy test.
  • You do not have other conditions like a bladder infection, certain nerve problems, cancer, or severe pelvic organ prolapse.
