Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must have one of these conditions: esophageal ulcer, low- or high-grade abnormal cell changes, esophageal squamous cell cancer, white patches on the esophageal lining, or a noncancerous growth (polyp) in the esophagus.
- You need to have records from a previous endoscopy with detailed pathology results.
- You must agree to take part in the study.
- You cannot have had surgery for esophageal cancer before.
- You cannot have had radiation or chemotherapy for esophageal cancer in the past.
