MRI for detecting hidden liver metastases in pancreatic cancer

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have a new diagnosis of pancreatic cancer confirmed by biopsy or cytology.
  • You have had a CT scan showing the tumor in your pancreas.
  • You can have an MRI within 3 weeks of that CT scan.
  • You have not received any treatment yet for your pancreatic cancer.
  • Your initial CT scan did not show that the cancer has spread to your liver, lungs, or other distant organs.
