Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with early-stage prostate cancer that hasn't spread, with a Gleason score of 8 or less and a PSA level under 30.
  • You are able to get treatment to cure your cancer, such as surgery, radiation, or active surveillance.
  • You can read and understand English or Spanish.
  • You have internet access and use the Epic MyChart patient portal at one of the study sites (UTHSA, UNC, UCSD, or KUMC).
  • You have not been treated for prostate cancer that spread or came back, and you don't have another active cancer (except for non-melanoma skin cancer).
