Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You have benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and are scheduled for your first prostate surgery.
  • You can speak Mandarin or Taiwanese.
  • You do not have prostate cancer, bladder tumors, or other urological diseases.
  • You do not have a long-term urinary catheter or suprapubic tube.
  • You are not currently in another urology-related clinical trial.
