NCT06334497Recruiting· Phase 3
Combination antiviral therapy for CMV in kidney transplant

This trial tests a combination of two antiviral drugs (letermovir and valganciclovir) to treat CMV infections in kidney transplant recipients. It aims to find a safer, more effective treatment option for people with active CMV after transplant.

Paris
NCT06798909Recruiting· Phase 3
CMV prevention in kidney transplant patients

This trial tests two ways to prevent CMV in kidney transplant patients who are at high risk. It compares giving antiviral medicine preemptively (based on regular blood tests) versus giving it as prophylaxis (starting right after transplant). The goal is to see which approach prevents CMV infection better.

Letermovir vs Valganciclovir for CMV Prevention After Kidney Transplant

This study compares two antiviral medications to prevent CMV (a common virus that can cause problems after kidney transplant) in people who had the virus before their transplant. The goal is to see which medicine works better and is safer for preventing CMV disease.

NCT05708508Recruiting· Phase 3
Immune-guided vs universal medicine to prevent CMV after kidney transplant

This study compares two strategies to prevent a viral infection called CMV after kidney transplant. It tests whether an “immune-guided” approach (using your immune test results) can prevent CMV as well as or better than giving preventive antiviral medicine to everyone.

NCT06958796Recruiting· Phase 4
CMV immunoglobulin to prevent disease after transplant

This trial tests whether giving CMV immunoglobulin (an antibody medicine) after transplant can help prevent a serious CMV infection in people who receive a kidney or liver from a CMV-positive donor. You might be eligible if you are getting one of these transplants and are at high risk for CMV.
