  • You are between 60 and 90 years old
  • You do not smoke
  • You do not have stomach or esophageal cancer, acid reflux, gastroparesis, or an untreated H. pylori infection
  • You do not have Alzheimer's or Parkinson's disease
  • Your BMI is not above 35 (obese)
  • You do not take medications that speed up stomach emptying or use a feeding tube
