Who can take part
- You must be between 1 and 45 years old (for healthy people) or between 18 and 45 (if you have HIV).
- You must be HIV-negative for the healthy group, or have well-controlled HIV (CD4 count above 350 and undetectable viral load) for the HIV group.
- You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You must not have had a cholera vaccine in the last 5 years or a recent cholera infection.
- You must not be taking high-dose steroids or other immune-suppressing drugs.
- You must not have a known allergy to any vaccine components.
