Exercise, fitness, and fertility treatment success

This study looks at how exercise, fitness, and emotional well-being might affect the success of fertility treatments like IVF or IUI. If you are planning to have such a treatment and are physically able to do a fitness test, you may be able to join and help researchers better understand what helps treatments work.

  • You are age 18 to 43.
  • You plan to have fertility treatment like IUI, IVF, or ICSI.
  • You can safely ride a bike for a special heart and lung test (CPET).
  • You are not currently pregnant and do not have a severe chronic illness.
  • You do not use illegal drugs or have uncontrolled thyroid or blood pressure problems.
  • You can understand and follow study instructions in German or English.
