- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- If you are in Minnesota, you must have had at least 3 flu shots in the last 5 years, and it has been at least 6 months since your last one.
- If you are in Uganda, you must have never received a flu vaccine before.
- You are generally healthy with no major medical conditions, and your body mass index (BMI) is 30 or lower (some exceptions possible).
- You must not be pregnant or planning pregnancy, and if you could become pregnant, you must use effective birth control.
- You cannot take certain medications (like steroids or chemotherapy) or have had other vaccines or blood products recently.
