Who can take part
- You have breast cancer (confirmed by a doctor).
- You have developed tingling, numbness, or pain in your hands or feet (at least mild) from taxane chemotherapy, and you will continue that chemo for at least 2 more cycles.
- You are 18 years or older.
- Your overall health is good (ECOG performance status 0 or 1).
- Your major organs (heart, liver, kidneys, bone marrow) are working well, as shown by recent blood tests.
- You do not have other nerve disorders, are not pregnant or nursing, and are not taking other specific nerve treatments.
