Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with portal hypertension (high blood pressure in the liver vein) that has caused enlarged veins in your esophagus or stomach.
- You have had a CT scan of your abdomen and an upper endoscopy (gastroscopy) to check for these enlarged veins.
- You do not have a stomach ulcer, stomach cancer, or other active cause of bleeding in your digestive tract.
- Your CT scan images and medical records are complete enough for the study doctors to review.
