Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have internal hemorrhoids grade I, II, or III and are scheduled for rubber band ligation.
- You are not currently taking oral nitrates or calcium channel blockers.
- You are not allergic to nitroglycerin ointment, lactulose solution, or other study medications.
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You are generally healthy and able to undergo the procedure and follow the study.
