Who can take part
- You are a woman between 18 and 70 years old.
- You have a type of cervical cancer called squamous cell, adenocarcinoma, or adenosquamous carcinoma.
- Your cancer is stage IIB to IVA (spread within the pelvis but not to distant organs) and you haven't had any treatment yet.
- You have at least one tumor that can be measured on scans.
- You are able to walk and do daily activities without help (ECOG 0–1).
