- You are at least 18 years old
- You have a collection of dead tissue and fluid in or around your pancreas that is infected or likely infected (called infected necrotizing pancreatitis)

- A doctor thinks it is possible to drain the fluid pocket using a camera through your mouth (endoscopic drainage)
