Who can take part
- You must be 14 years old or older.
- You must have had an emergency (not planned) operation on your abdomen.
- The operation must have involved certain problems like a blocked or torn bowel, abscess, bleeding, or a major wound opening after surgery.
- Your surgery cannot be only for removing the appendix or gallbladder.
- Your surgery cannot be for conditions like blood vessel, transplant, gynecological (except cancer complications), or liver/pancreas issues.
