Who can take part

  • You have a newly diagnosed glioma in the upper part of the brain that needs surgery
  • The tumor reaches or is close to the surface of the brain
  • You are between 18 and 75 years old
  • You are having open brain surgery under total intravenous anesthesia (TIVA)
  • You are able to give informed consent and have a good performance status (ECOG 0-2)
