Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must have colorectal cancer that has been confirmed by a biopsy.
  • Your cancer has spread to the lining of your abdomen (peritoneal metastases) based on scans or doctor evaluations.
  • You are scheduled for a staging laparoscopy or surgery (with or without heated chemotherapy inside the abdomen).
  • Doctors can obtain a tissue sample from the abdominal spread for analysis.
  • You agree to participate and sign a consent form.
