Who can take part
- You are 18 or older and of Chinese descent.
- You have had a doctor's diagnosis of hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) for at least 6 months.
- You currently have at least 5 painful HS bumps (abscesses or inflammatory nodules) that are spread across at least two different body areas (like both armpits or armpit and groin).
- You have not taken secukinumab or any other drug that targets the IL-17 pathway before.
- You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant, and you use effective birth control during the study.
- You do not have a fistula (a tunnel under the skin) count of 20 or more, active inflammatory bowel disease, or other serious conditions like tuberculosis or hepatitis.
