Who can take part

  • You are age 18 to 100
  • You have nerve pain from chemotherapy
  • You are already scheduled to get a spinal pump with ziconotide by Dr. Beuer
  • You have no allergy to ziconotide and no expected drug interactions
  • If you currently take opioid pain medicine, you must stop for 2 weeks before the pump is placed
  • You do not have neuropathy from diabetes or other causes, and you do not have a spinal cord stimulator
