- Your baby is currently admitted to a NICU or special care nursery and is between birth and 6 months old
- Your baby was born at 28 weeks of pregnancy or later
- Your baby is not on a breathing tube (endotracheal or nasotracheal intubation)
- Your baby does not have a condition affecting leg structure or head shape that would make standard measurements difficult (such as leg abnormalities, joint problems, or excess fluid in the brain)
- You are willing to have your baby photographed and video-recorded for the study
- You agree to let researchers see your baby's blood test results (hemoglobin levels) from routine hospital care, and you can sign a written consent form
