Who can take part

  • You are 18–30 years old and currently enrolled in university
  • You smoke at least 1 cigarette per day and have been a regular smoker for at least 6 months
  • You do not have asthma, COPD, or other chronic lung disease
  • You have not had a respiratory infection (cold, bronchitis) in the last 4 weeks
  • You do not have heart disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or severe orthopedic or neurological conditions
  • You are able to walk, sit, stand, and balance safely for physical testing
