FAP PET scan imaging for newly diagnosed breast cancer

Breast Cancer Detection

This trial tests a new type of PET scan (a specialized imaging test) called FAP PET/CT to help stage and evaluate breast cancer. You'll undergo this scan as part of your standard diagnostic workup to see if it provides helpful information about your cancer.

  • Age 18 or older
  • Recently diagnosed with breast cancer confirmed by biopsy
  • Able to read and understand Danish
  • Able to lie still during the imaging scan without anxiety or physical limitations
  • Already scheduled for a routine PET/CT scan as part of your standard cancer workup
  • Not pregnant, not breastfeeding, and not currently receiving treatment for another cancer
