- You've had breast cancer surgery (mastectomy) and need chemotherapy with docetaxel and cyclophosphamide after surgery
- You are between 18 and 85 years old
- Your blood counts are normal enough to safely receive chemotherapy
- Your liver and kidney function are adequate, with no signs of liver failure or kidney disease
- You have no ear infections, bleeding disorders, uncontrolled heart disease, or recent stroke or heart attack
- You are not pregnant, not breastfeeding, and willing to follow the study plan
