- You are 18 years or older and scheduled for major surgery on your stomach, intestines, pancreas, liver, or related organs
- Your doctor rates you as having moderate health risks (ASA score 2 or 3, meaning you have some existing health conditions but are not in critical condition)
- You have a working smartphone and Wi-Fi internet access at home during recovery
- You do not have a pacemaker, defibrillator, or other active implanted device
- You are not allergic to adhesive bandages or silicone, and your skin at the patch site is healthy (not tattooed, infected, or damaged)
- You speak and read French fluently and can provide written consent to participate
