Brain stimulation study for healthy adult volunteers

Modeling of Recruitment Curves

This trial uses transcranial magnetic stimulation (a non-invasive way to stimulate the brain using magnetic fields) to study how the brain responds. Who can take part

  • You are 18 years of age or older.
  • You are generally healthy and free from significant medical conditions.
  • You do not have a history of seizures, epilepsy, or a family history of epilepsy.
  • You have not had a stroke, brain injury, head injury, or brain surgery.
  • You do not have any metallic implants in your head (outside of dental work) or implanted medical devices such as pacemakers.
  • You are not pregnant and not currently taking medications that affect brain activity.
