Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 50 years old
- You receive in-center hemodialysis (machine treatment for kidneys) 2–3 times per week
- You experience moderate psychological distress (scored 20–29 on a distress screening test)
- You can read and understand English or Urdu
- You do not have a fistula (surgical connection) in your dominant arm
- You do not have dementia, delirium, hearing problems that prevent participation, acute kidney failure, or active cancer treatment
