Peer-Led Disaster Training for First Aid Students

The Aim is to Strengthen Disaster Preparedness Knowledge and Skills Through Peer Interaction

This study tests whether learning about disaster preparedness from fellow students (instead of just instructors) helps first-aid students feel more confident and prepared. You would attend training sessions and answer questions about your attitudes toward disasters.

  • You are currently in your 2nd year of a First Aid and Emergency program at Eğirdir Health Services Vocational School
  • You can attend all the training sessions offered in the program
  • You are willing to volunteer and participate in the full study
  • You do not currently work as a healthcare professional in any hospital, clinic, or other health institution
  • You have no prior work experience, diploma, or certificate in disaster management or emergency response
