PET Scan to Monitor Prostate Cancer After Targeted Treatment

Who can take part

  • Age 18 or older at the time you join the study
  • Diagnosed with prostate adenocarcinoma (the most common type of prostate cancer)
  • Planning to receive focal therapy (cryotherapy, HIFU, or NanoKnife—all treatments that freeze, heat, or destroy just the cancer area)
  • Willing to have MRI scans before and after treatment
  • Willing to have MRI-guided biopsies (small tissue samples taken with imaging guidance) before and after treatment
  • No prior treatment for prostate cancer (no radiation, focal therapy, or chemotherapy before)
