  • Your infant is healthy with no major birth defects or long-term medical conditions
  • Your infant has never received a pneumococcal vaccine before
  • Your infant has not had a severe allergic reaction to any vaccine
  • Your infant has no serious acute (sudden) or chronic (long-lasting) medical conditions that could make the vaccine risky
