Who can take part

  • Symptoms like buttock pain, ache, or tightness lasting more than 6 weeks
  • Mostly sedentary or moderately active (haven't done heavy buttock or core strengthening exercises in at least 3 months)
  • Diagnosed with Dead Butt Syndrome based on at least 2 out of 3 signs: self-reported gluteal discomfort, a positive Trendelenburg test (muscle weakness test), or weak gluteal muscles on strength testing
  • Not pregnant or planning to become pregnant during the study
  • No recent spinal surgery or major spine injury in the past 12 months
  • No other hip or nerve conditions like labral tears, piriformis syndrome, or sciatica
