Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with IBS using ROME V criteria (a standard diagnostic method)
  • Your IBS symptom severity score is 75 or higher on a standard questionnaire
  • You are 18 years or older with a healthy weight range (BMI 18.5–35)
  • You have not taken probiotic supplements or antibiotics in the months before the study
  • You are not pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding during the study
  • You can read Swedish and complete study questionnaires
